Some of my knowledge about conception comes from my 15 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist. For those who are interested, I have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Masterīs degree. I have counseled many patients about contraception and conception aids and medications. In addition, I have my own personal experiences with the topic as well as discussions with friends who have had interesting journeys. I struggled with conception, and it was so painful to hear from people who bragged about how easy it was. To hear someone say, "We got pregnant as fast a teenager" devastated me because it wasnīt as easy for me. But there is light at the end of the tunnel for most people who want to have a family, and I hope to help you get there.
I also have had the experience of having a child after cervical cancer. I had 3 surgeries, and several years later, I carried a baby to full term, so Iīm here to say it can be done.
I hope that you find answers, understanding and comfort (when you need it) here on the site.
I also have an e-book of my articles plus a special section on surviving IVF. It makes it a little easier to read the topics you need most: http://www.bellaonline.com/ebooks/ebook165
