Serving Write
Bruce McRae
They broke my little black heart.
Those mealy-mouthed, sod-minded,
streptococcus-ridden gobdaws.
That wasnīt mentioned in the manual
for The Graveyard School of Poetry.

I admit some moral shortcomings,
I might be shy a quality or two;
but what they wrote is indefensible,
their slights intractable and cruel.

And Iīve got a lawyer. And heīs vicious too.
"Justice in the extreme is often unjust,"
he said. And at these prices I believe him.
