Prismatics
Craig W. Steele
Infinite rainbows surround us,
inundating reality.
But the colors in white light are
inaccessible through the noise of sight.
Only when water droplets,
serving us like Braille serves the blind,
separate the threads of energy
woven to form blinding vision
do we perceive a fragment of the
kaleidoscope in which we live—
a variegated swag of colors draped,
ever so briefly, across perception.
