If a body hits a body,
crashing through the rye,
if a body crushes a body,
then what blame is there
for falling in love?
For suing for damages?
For seeking medical attention?

The body in motion
stops motion upon impact
with another body.
We sometimes call this destruction.
We sometimes call this kissing.

Same thing.

Strong emotion sometimes feels
like attraction.
Attraction pulls people together,
causing them to collide
again
and again.
