Deanna Kahler is a freelance writer, an award-winning author and a proud mom. She and her husband adopted their daughter domestically at birth, so she understands the complex emotions and challenges of those who pursue adoption. Deanna´s goal is to help make the journey a little easier for others.

Her published books include "From Pain to Parenthood: A Journey Through Miscarriage to Adoption," "Echoes of Paradise" and "A Rare Gem."

Deanna began writing as a young child and enjoys the opportunity to reach others and make a difference in their lives. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., where she graduated with departmental honors. Deanna lives with her husband and daughter in the Detroit area, where she enjoys writing, dancing, walking and visiting parks in her spare time.
